A “haute” new line of leg wear has been launched by Dallas based designer, Ava Carmichael, for Berry Jane. The first collection, Jolies Jambières, meaning “pretty leggings” in French, is an exclusive line of leg wear featuring everything from sparkling, hologram fabrics to basic jersey knits and even cashmere blends. The line will range in sizes from 12-18 months all the way up to 10 yrs. Currently, the line is exclusively leggings, however, plans to expand the line with tops for the Spring and Summer market are in the works.
Jolies Jambières was inspired by the designer’s trip to Europe in the summer of 2009. The different groups and color palettes are inspired by Parisian and London fashion influences that were discovered during her 3-week trek across Europe and the UK.
Jolies Jambieres is currently manufactured in Dallas, TX by Carmichael and Company Garments.
